Equatorial mount for sale. Includes 2 counterweights, True Track Dual-Axis Drive, and Polar Alignment Scope. The mount needs to be regreased, & the circuit board of the declination piece of the True Track needs repair (if you know how to solder it should be very easy). Thise mount is fine for visual and webcam astrophotography (Moon and planets). It does not have any GoTo or autoguiding capabilities. I used it for about a year with my 8in f/5 Newtonian before upgrading to my CG-5. I am selling it because I am not using it. One-of-a-kind observatory for sale. Hand-made back in 1968 and was a local landmark in Edmonton since that time. It was originally built by Stan "Henry" Pazder with assistance from a local tinsmith. It was featured in a 1980 Edmonton Journal article, I have a copy of it if anyone is interested. It measures 8' by 8' (64 sq. ft.) and stands approximately 14' tall. The 6' dome fully rotates with the slit opening allowing observation near the zenith. It comes with a "mighty mouse" re-reflecting GPS antenna that allows GPS equipped scopes to receive signals while inside. The building walls are fully insulated and painted inside with siding white and inside with a neutral tope. There is also a window on the front side near the door. The floor around the pier hatch has like-new grey carpeting, the dome interior is flat black with a ring of night vision friendly red LED lights around the interior base circumference. I constructed a raised platform around the pier for easy access to the scope. I will also include the custom metal pier and concrete base. Serious inquiries only please, I am asking $15,000 as is.
