Welcome
The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is a group of people who share a common interest in astronomy. With a history of over one hundred years and nearly 5 000 members, there are 28 centres situated in most large cities and all ten provinces.
The Edmonton Centre was established in 1932 and has a current membership of over 250. The major activities of the Centre include monthly meetings, dark site observing sessions, on-going public observing, public education, and special events such as astronomy work shops, star parties, and much more.
